I sit here with ink stained hands beginning a new journey...blogging! Sharing my creative self and creative heart.... I have been a fan of Joanne Sharpe and her whimspirations blog for a very, very long time and was thrilled when I found out she was teaching her first on line class, I knew I had to be part of it. "Letter Love 101" has brought so much love to my life, not only in letters, but in the amazing women who are also in the class, their art, words of encouragement, shared tips and knowledge, and support! Did I mention their amazing artwork and talent? WOW!!!!
Everyday I look forward to checking our facebook group to see what they have created, learning from questions asked, getting, giving and seeing letter love and support to and from places ALL OVER THE WORLD!
I was at Scrapbook Territory, in Berkeley, CA, today talking to Lelani while spending even more $$$$ on artful goodness and gushing to her about Joannes class, art and the upcoming class "Artful Alphas". I grabbed my phone to show her photos of my work and surprisingly said...."oh, she just sent me a text", trying to wrap my brain around "OMG....JOANNE IS SENDING ME A TEXT? WHAT?????"
When I calmed down I read that she wanted to post some of my class work on her blog. Okay, now I was really freaking out along with being so humbled and honored! She also wanted to link it to my blog, as I wrote back to say I don't have a blog (inked thumb hovering over the send button) the Oprah hammer of "aha" hit me in the head here I am world!
Thank you, special angel, Joanne...you have no idea the lives you have changed around the world...you just don't!
